WOOHOO! Acting opportunities!

I am so excited about the opportunities that have come up in my life lately for performance!

~I was asked to perform a moving piece at church for Easter Sunday, as Mary Magdalene discovering the empty tomb.

~I was asked to join the cast of an independent film about vampires - "Renfield" - as Dracula's first victim (shooting end of April).

~And now, I have been cast in a music video! I will be the CPS nurse in the video "SAFE" alongside pop duo Jason and DeMarco. The video is meant to spread awareness about their newest program, S.A.F.E. (Safe Affirming Family Environment), "for fostering and SAFE houses for throw-away gay and lesbian kids living on the street" (shooting end of April, beginning of May).

I am thrilled to be involved in these projects, especially as they require a wide range on my part. (In fact, I should be brushing up on my English accent for Renfield.) Please pray for me as I jump in to these projects; pray that time be well spent, that I grow and learn from these experiences, but also that I can burn bright as a light for God. Honestly, I cannot wait to get to know Jason and DeMarco better, as they are proud Christians. I am eager to learn more about them and their personal mission, which is literally personified as "Be the light".
