On a more serious note (than the fun photo giveaway from my last post), the wonderful Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, is giving away money to aid those in need.
Ree likes to give away fun prizes, ranging from beautiful cookware to handmade jewelry to Amazon gift cards, all in the name of love and the spirit of fun. It is this giving quality, and this spirit of love, that moves her to help those in Haiti. Today she is giving away two $500 donations to wonderful chairites whose current and urgent mission it is to help the families suffering in Haiti.
She is also planning to donate a dime for every comment left on her page. For those of you unaware with the foot traffic this woman has, so far there are 23,500 comments. All you have to do is type "Prayers for the citizens of Haiti" and you have encouraged another dime to go to help these people.
